The short answer
TikTok Shop usually rejects product images for added text or logos, a main image that is not a front view on pure white, digital renders, repeated angles, images under 600 × 600 pixels, or showing items the buyer will not receive. Fix the specific image named in the rejection notice, then resubmit.

| Digital render or placeholder | Use a real photo or a realistic photo-based image |

How to fix a rejected listing
- Open the product in Seller Center and read the exact rejection reason.
- Check every image, not only the one you suspect, against the rules below.
- Replace the images that break a rule, and check the title and description while you are there.
- Resubmit the listing and watch for a new review result.
- If it fails again with the same reason, compare it against the full image requirements or contact seller support.
Pre-submit image checklist
- Every image is square and at least 600 × 600 pixels.
- The main image shows the front of the product on pure white.
- No image has added logos, text, borders, watermarks or graphics.
- Every image is a realistic photo in full color.
- Each image shows a different view.
- Only items the customer receives appear in the photos.
- Nothing is explicit, violent, hateful or shows animal abuse.

What about AI images?
The listing policy does not name AI images specifically, but it does prohibit digital renderings and requires images to show what the customer receives. An image that looks like a render, or that changes the product, can therefore be a problem however it was made. TikTok also has separate rules on AI-generated content, so check Seller University for the current wording. Keep AI output realistic and accurate to the real product.
Common questions
Why was my TikTok Shop product image rejected?
The most common reasons are added text or logos, a main image that is not a front view on pure white, digital renders and repeated angles. The rejection notice in Seller Center names the specific issue.
Can I add my logo to TikTok Shop photos?
Not as an added overlay. A logo that is physically part of the product is different, because it appears on the item the buyer receives.
Can I use the same photos as my Amazon listing?
Often not all of them. Amazon infographics and images with added text break TikTok Shop’s rule against added text, so you need text-free versions.
